Topics include typical livestock production systems and farming nuances, including livestock enterprise gross margins and cashflow timings, how to reconcile and value the stock and equipment used within a farm business with livestock enterprises and how this links into financial record keeping and the financial yearend.  The course contains the key aspects that need to be considered and how the student can keep up to date with changing requirements in their line of work.

By booking onto this course, students are confirming they have a recognised bookkeeping qualification at a minimum of Level 3 e.g.  AAT, ICB, IAB and/or relevant experience and, in addition if new to the industry, then have completed IAgSA Course 1 and Course 2.

The format of this course is pre-work and pre-work test, followed by a Zoom virtual classroom, then access to short recordings and finally a course assessment.  Students receive the pre-work 3 weeks before the virtual classroom date, and the pre-work test needs to be submitted at least one week before the virtual classroom.  Students need to successfully pass the pre-work test to be able to join the virtual classroom session.
